Welcome to the Region 8 Student Competition. Liverpool John Moores University, School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, is thrilled to host the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Region 8 student competition from the 8th to the 10th of November 2023.
For this year, we are proposing to make some changes to the rules of the competition: We are introducing a new open track to each of the CM/QS and D&B tracks. This is for institutions from outside of Region 8 that are not collaborating with an R8 institution. There will be no restrictions on the number of teams an institution can bring.
We are also making some slight changes to the existing tracks:
- CM/QS Track: Three Teams per Institution—first two teams entries to be collaborative
- Design and Build Track: Three Teams per Institution—first two teams entries to be collaborative
