We are pleased to announce that Sonya Meekel, who was appointed as Director of ASC Region 8 in March 2024, will now be joined by Dr Onur Dursun from Liverpool John Moores University as the newly appointed Director-Elect. This expansion of the executive leadership team brings a wealth of experience and dynamic vision to Region 8.
Onur is committed to broadening the outreach of Region 8 to various institutions and industry partners. His enthusiasm for working alongside Sonya, whose sincere enthusiasm, boundless motivation, and infectious energy have been instrumental in our region’s success, will undoubtedly drive Region 8 to new heights.
